Stake Crypto Sportsbook Review: Honest Evaluation of Trust Factors, Sports Betting Odds & Markets, Bonuses, Gambling Features & Player Benefits

Last updated:

02/12/2025

Bijan Tehrani and Ed Craven are a duo of Australian entrepreneurs who founded Stake.com in 2017, a year before cryptos became a globally recognized phenomenon. It is now the world’s most recognized crypto gambling hub. Its creators created Primedice before they went all in on Stake, which has had many highly publicized partnerships and celebrity endorsements. Most notably, from Canadian artist Drake, who has famously wagered over $1 billion on the platform.

Operated by Medium Rare N.V. under a Curaçao license, what we have here is a gaming and bookmaker platform that has millions of users globally and one that uses Nexiux Solutions’ software. It has a sleek interface, accepts over twenty cryptocurrencies, has a UI viewable in sixteen languages, and has a deep casino lobby with provably fair Stake Originals to boot.

Are there any unique features making the Stake sportsbook stand out?

We would say the many high-quality live streams and extensive selection of top sports markets are the prime betting features of this hybrid sportsbook. But let’s put Stake under the GOSUBETTING spotlights in a full platform review.

Table of contents

Is Stake legit, trusted, and safe?

We should not waste too much space on this subject here in our Stake sportsbook review, as this is something that does not need explaining, given Stake’s reputation and fame. This is the biggest gambling platform accepting cryptos ever, with millions of users from all corners of the globe, partnered with various celebrities. Therefore, it should go without saying that it is a legitimate and secure site.

Is Stake licensed by any recognized licensing bodies?

Medium Rare N.V., the company running Stake.com, does this from Curaçao, and it operates this globally recognizable website using a license issued to it by the Curaçao Gaming Authority – License number OGL/2024/1451/0918. Note that payment processing here gets managed by two Cyprus-based subsidiaries. These are MRS Tech Ltd and Medium Rare Limited.

The Stake licensing info present in the Stake general terms and conditions.

What’s Stake’s reputation with bettors and the wider gambling industry?

Stake had a great 3.9 rating on Trustpilot when we did this analysis out of almost twelve thousand grades. That is the highest number of ratings we have seen for a gambling site on this platform, with 64% of these being five-star ones. On watchdog hubs, Stake, too, has stellar grades everywhere.

What review ratings does Stake typically get?

It usually ranks in the top ten, and at most sites, it sits in the top five best crypto casinos/sportsbooks. A sizeable reason for this is its prominent sector status, which boosts its rating everywhere, and one of the top factors we gave it four and a half stars.

Are there any brand or sports personality partnerships that support legitimacy?

Stake works with loads of people and entities. Drake is, without question, its most publicized partner. But the site has teamed up with Kun Agüero as well. It has done the same with Everton, Juventude, FBC Melgar, Fortaleza CEIF, Enyimba Football Club, and Club Deportivo Ñublense.

For years, Stake has been a trusted UFC partner, and it now has its F1 Team. Individual athletes who are sponsored by Stake and are acting brand ambassadors include Frankie Dettori, Patrice Evra, Valentina Shevchenko, Merab Dvalishvili, Alex Pereira, Israel Adesanya, and Caio Borralho. You also have the eSports team Vitality on the list.

Are there any known blacklistings?

No, there are not. Some people/sites may not be too fond of Stake, but no one can deny the level of service offered here and this brand’s place in the industry.

Are there any known or reported scams or scandals?

Like most other crypto operators running social/sweepstakes casinos accessible by Americans, this one too has faced legal action for this in the US, for its operation of the Stake.us domain and its offered services to Americans.

The site too was investigated by the UKGC for partnering with a content aggregator on X that reposted viral content with Stake’s watermark, something that Duelbits, Rainbet, and others do. That got seen as potentially targeting minors through this viral marketing method. That incident, along with Stake’s teaming up with adult actress Bonnie Blue for media ads, is what, according to many, led to Stake closing its UK operations.

Have there been any known data breaches?

In 2023, this site got compromised, getting hacked for $41 million. Its founder, Edward Craven, did confirm that no one got control of Stake’s private keys, refuting speculation that this was the reason for the theft. Per Craven, this was a sophisticated breach, one that was aimed at the service used for transaction authorization. Still, many parties, including security firm Cyvers, claimed this hack was a result of private key leakage.

In 2022, there were reports about Stake’s email database getting breached, and there have been various user complaints about them being victims of Stake-based phishing scams.

TRMLABS headline about the 2023 Stake North Korea hack.

Can players access login and transaction histories?

Yes, to both. There is a separate transactions page, where you can also get a look at your bonuses and bet histories. For session records, you have to navigate to the account settings and look under security.

Does the site handle player data privacy effectively?

The privacy policy here follows industry norms. It is shorter than what we anticipated, overly general, and omits data retention timelines. We would have liked to have seen more details and specificities here, but we would say the data handling on Stake is good enough.

Notably absent is any visible Gaming Commission Badge (GCB) or licensing reference—an unexpected oversight. That said, the platform demonstrates a more sensible and transparent approach to data handling than many competitors, suggesting reasonable privacy practices overall.

Is there any evidence of credible and recurring bettor complaints?

The ones that most frequently came up are people being somewhat confused about the bonus terms. These were more casino-oriented issues, and we saw more than a few gripes about people getting inconsistent customer support, which, to be fair, is pretty common for the landscape. Though in our experience, for such a massive site, Stake does a good job of connecting you to a help agent fairly quickly, in most cases.

What security methods are in use?

Stake has two-factor authentication, and it also has an API token, a unique code that allows limited access to your account through Stake’s closed API system. Now, because the API is closed, these tokens have very restricted use and must get managed carefully.

The general conditions here do not specifically cite cold storage or other advanced blockchain-centric security features. You do get a vault, which provides enhanced storage protection through multi-layered access control on this site with an E5 Let’s Encrypt server certificate.

The 2FA section in the security tab inside the account setting on the Stake website.

Has Stake won any crypto gambling industry awards?

Shockingly, no. As far as the most famous sphere honors go. We truly do not know what the reason for this is, but it is probably political in some nature.

Is the longevity of Stake a factor to consider before betting?

Stake has been around for years and is the best-known crypto casino in the world. It very well may be the most renowned online gambling site in general, so it has proven itself over the years to the greatest degree possible.

What levels of community engagement are there at Stake?

Great ones. To participate in the Stake public chat, you must have wagered over $500 on this hub, in sports bets or on casino games. It does not matter. This limit keeps going up with time.

Literally millions of people use this site. When writing this Stake review, we saw fifteen thousand people playing dice here and ten thousand enjoying mines, another site original. The Stake X page has over forty thousand followers, and there is a stakecommunity.com website, which is actually a standard message board/forum, that is quite active. It is probably one of the busiest gambling ones on the Web.

There are multiple official Stake Telegram channels, with the VIP notice one boasting almost half a million members.

The official Stake message board the community website.

Are the terms and conditions clear and fair?

They are clear and structured but may be perceived as complex for casuals due to their legalistic language. We like that they note that the funds get held in separate accounts, and the site is transparent about AML obligations and operator-favored clauses. The latter includes vague abuse criteria and potential withdrawal fees.

What levels of anonymity can a bettor at Stake expect?

You can gamble in ghost mode here, which will keep your username a secret from other platform users, but you cannot keep your identity a secret from Stake, as this site has pretty firm KYC requirements, and will not allow you to use this platform’s services until you prove to them you are who you say you are.

What are the account registration requirements?

You can sign up here using the traditional method, which entails you inputting your email and loads of personal info, such as your date of birth, country of residence, and physical address, or you can go the alternative route, which entails you sharing your Facebook, Line, Google, and Twitch credentials with this website.

What are the KYC requirements?

There is a four-step/level KYC verification process here. The first two levels you go through upon sign-up, where you provide basic info about who you are and some personal info in Level 1, and in Level 2, which is mandatory for you to create an account through which you can deposit and withdraw funds here, you must submit a photo ID. A photo of it, its front and back sides. You send that over to prove that what you inputted in the previous sign-up page is true.

The third and fourth levels ask for proof of address and source of funds, respectively. These probably get asked when the site believes they are necessary. We assume that is when you make higher withdrawal requests, or when betting activity gets pretty high.

The KYC section of the Stake registration form. that asks you to submit your photo ID

Which sports betting software solution does Stake use?

Nexiux Solutions is responsible for the betting software that Stake implements. That is the same one that Sportsbet.io and Duelbits use. It is a customizable solution that can list over ten thousand pre-match events every month, covering more than a hundred sports, giving competitive odds for all featured markets.

What’s the choice of betting markets and odds like at Stake?

Stake has minute markets, which other sites call fast ones. For most soccer/football matches, ones from higher-end leagues and international competitions, it should have—Same Game Multi, Asian Lines, Goals, Half, Corners, Goalscorers, Specials, on top of the standard ones, and the mentioned minute markets. The selection will depend on how high-profile the event is.

Basketball games, like those from the NBA, and NFL matches, get a hefty supply of betting choices. Baseball and tennis have decent ones, but after these sports, cricket included, the offering goes down, as events from the other sports listed do not see much wagering volume.

We could not see what UFC markets for big fights Stake offers, as the contests listed were only ones happening in a few days, not ones a week or more from the day we accessed the site. Still, for some of the fights listed, we saw Winner (1×2), Asian Total, Will The Fight Go The Distance, Winning Method, Winning Method (Double Chance), and Winner & Exact Rounds markets.

Sports coverage

American Football, Alpine Skiing, Aussie Rules, Baseball, Basketball, Basketball 3×3, Biathlon, Boxing, Cricket, Cross-Country, Cycling, Darts, Futsal, Field Hockey, Formula 1, Golf, Handball, Ice Hockey, Indy Racing, Lacrosse, MMA, Motorcycle Racing, Olympics, Pesapallo, Rugby, Ski Jumping, Snooker, Soccer, Stock Car Racing, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball, and Specials.

Stake live betting options

Most actual sports events, except niche ones, get featured for in-play betting at Stake, and practically all the eSport ones. We have seen two dozen events listed for live gambling and over two hundred here. At all times, something should be available in that part of the Stake sportsbook.

eSports

CS2, Dota 2, FIFA, King of Glory, NBA2K, Rocket League, Rainbow Six, Valorant, Call of Duty, League of Legends, and eCricket.

Virtual sports

There are simulated reality contests for soccer, tennis, and cricket at Stake. These are offered by SportsRadar. Per the official site for these, they leverage advanced tech that has spent decades analyzing sports data to create unpredictable match simulations that mirror what happens in real fixtures.

What are the betting limits at Stake?

The Stake sports agent we spoke to said they have no control over limits. These get set by the provider. They are individual. If your bet is accepted by the site, then your payout is guaranteed. If it’s rejected, you must lower your stake until the platform accepts it.

Does Stake offer good value odds?

It has competitive ones for top sports, on par with famed US-licensed sportsbooks and its crypto rivals. We have heard that it has 2–4% margins on marquee matches, and 5–7% on smaller ones. We do not know how accurate this is, since we do not understand how people get this info.

What odds formats are available here?

You can view the presented odds at Stake in the following formats: Fractional, Decimal, Malaysian, Indonesian, Hong Kong, and American.

The odds selector on Stake that lets you select decimal, fractional, American, Indonesian, Hong Kong, and Malaysian odds

Is there a bet cash-out feature?

Yes. Though this will not be on hand for all markets and events. We cannot tell you beforehand for which it will be available, as that gets determined by the software solution provider and will vary depending on what they decide.

Does Stake offer live streaming for games?

Yes. Stake is renowned for offering high-quality live streams for high-profile sporting events. This is probably the best gambling site on the Web when it comes to checking video feeds of happening sporting events. You can see a screen icon with a play button next to the events for which this is available.

Sportsbook 200% up to $500

Live Casino 200% up to $500

What sportsbook bonuses does Stake provide?

When it comes to sports promos, Stake does not have any staples. It adds bettor bonuses that are available for limited periods, and when these expire, those deals get replaced with new ones. Many of these connect to specific sports or events and feature one of the site’s ambassadors.

When we scanned Stake for this content, Stake.com offered a Tennis – Final Set Tiebreaker Payout promotion for selected ATP and WTA tournaments. It had UFC Split Decision Insurance (up to $250), a Frankie Dettori-marketed horse racing bonus, one available to VIPs only, giving away a refund up to $100 if a horse finishes 2nd–5th in a win market.

There was also an MLB 9th Inning Payout that covers cases where your team is leading at the start of the 9th inning but loses, a Stake F1 Team promotion that can double your winnings, and an IME Cologne-specific eSports deal.

We rattle off this promo to give you an idea of what you can expect here concerning sports bonuses.

A few of the sports promos featured on Stake.com at the time of our review process.

Welcome Sign Up Bonus

Stake is usually known for not listing a welcome offer. But worry not, as we managed to get some special deals for you here. Check them out:

Exclusive GOSU Bonus Alert: If you sign up through GOSUBETTING, you can now take advantage of an exclusive 200% up to $500 Deposit Bonus. This offer comes with a 40x wagering requirement, and the minimum deposit to qualify for this Stake Deposit Bonus is $50.

Exclusive GOSU Bonus Alert: If you register through GOSUBETTING, you will receive a free $7 Stake No Deposit Bonus + instant 5% Rakeback—no deposit needed. Just sign up through our links and email us your Stake username to have your free $7 reloads ($1 per day) activated. Since this Stake No Deposit Bonus is credited manually, it may take some time. Check the VIP section of your Stake account regularly after submitting your username.

Reload bonus

There are no sports reloads (non-VIP) at Stake.

Are the bonus terms transparent?

They are clear enough. Each deal gets governed by specific terms, but these are not detailed in the general ones. These specific terms are not super detailed, but we would call them to the point. Stake has no distinct bonus conditions page.

Are there any wagering requirements/rollover rules attached to bonus use?

Outside our exclusive offer, which carries a 40x rollover, we saw no mention of site-promoted deals carrying any wagering requirements. The general terms also do not explicitly detail such conditions. We assume that this is because Stake is not too fond of cash bonuses. The terms do note that each offer here has its own conditions.

We must highlight that we did read of a bonus rollover, which requires you to wager your deposit plus bonus amount before withdrawing. That was info in a separate tab on the T&C page, which stated that Stake uses a 4x requirement based on the average house edge (3.5–4.5%). Games with a 1% edge contribute only 25%, while higher-edge games count fully. Funds shall remain locked until a rollover gets met, and wagering on restricted games (like Aviator, Crash, or low-edge slots) won’t contribute anything. We are not sure what this refers to. We assume that once you activate some bonus, you will be able to see its rollover listed somewhere.

Are there any cashback deals?

No.

Is there any risk-free betting at Stake?

When we posted this Stake review update, it had none, but we have seen such deals here in the past. Thus, it would not surprise us if they make a comeback here soon. They pop in and out on this platform.

Does Stake offer odds boosts?

We saw none, prompting us to ask about this. Here is the reply we got – Sometimes, as a part of a promotion.

Are there regular promotional offers besides standard bonuses?

You have various community-based promos posted on X, Telegram, and the Stake forum. Be sure to monitor those if you want to get in on these. They are mostly casino-centric, but sports-related ones have gotten posted as well. Telegram challenges/drops are a thing here too, as is Chat Rain, from which you can exclude.

A promo from the Stake forum presenting the Telegram drops.

Are any tournaments or competitions run as promos?

Stake bettors can participate in the Daily Race and Weekly Raffles. In the first, you vie for a share of $100,000 every day by climbing a leaderboard, which you do by wagering here. The more you bet, the higher you go on that standing where the top five thousand gamblers earn prizes. Regarding the raffles, these give you a shot to win a piece of $75,000 every week, a pot that gets divided among fifteen people. You get one ticket for every $1,000 wagered, which gives you an opportunity to win your slice of the mentioned prize pool. The draws happen live every Saturday at 2 PM GMT on Eddie’s Kick stream. Winners get chosen at random, using Google’s random number generator. That ensures maximum transparency.

Are there crypto-specific incentives like staking?

There is no native token and no staking at Stake. The only crypto-specific feature you get here is the Vault, which we touched upon above. That is a secure way to store coin funds on this site.

What VIP or loyalty program benefits does Stake give bettors?

Stake’s VIP program starts you off at the Bronze tier, and as you bet more here, you can eventually reach the top of this VIP ladder, which is the Diamond tier. In between these two are the Silver, Gold, and Platinum ones. The Platinum and Diamond tiers have multiple sub-levels each. Platinum has six, and Diamond has five. Each level in this system gets unlocked based on the player’s total wagering amount. You need $10,000 for Bronze, and $25 million for Diamond.

Of course, the higher you go, the perks get better, and they include monthly and weekly bonuses, Rakeback, level-up rewards, and exclusive reload offers. From the Platinum tiers onward, you get a VIP host. Per some stats, this system has distributed over $1 billion in bonuses.

The last tiers of the Stake VIP program, the Gold, Platinum and Diamond ranks.

How do crypto payment processes work at Stake?

First, you have to identify yourself. Frown face, we know. After you do that, you enter the Stake payment window, pick your preferred cryptocurrencies, and follow the prompts. Crypto deposits are processed instantly, while fiat options may take slightly longer.

For crypto users, Stake supports direct deposits from a long list of exchanges/wallets, and you can get cryptos through MoonPay using credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, or bank transfers. Withdrawals are too simple here. Again, you choose your desired crypto, enter the destination address, and confirm the transfer.

What crypto payment methods can bettors use for banking?

You can use Binance USD (BUSD), Solana (SOL), and Dai (DAI), among a list of popular cryptocurrencies, which also includes Bitcoin (BTC), Chainlink (LINK), Litecoin (LTC), Polygon (POL), Dogecoin (DOGE), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Tronix (TRX), Shiba Inu (SHIB), ApeCoin (APE), and The Sandbox (SAND). The list continues with Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC), Binance Coin (BNB), and XRP (XRP), as well as Uniswap (UNI), EOS (EOS), Tether (USDT), the crypto associated with Donald Trump, known as TRUMP, and Cronos (CRO) at Stake.

Is there any crypto wallet integration?

In May 2025, we heard that Stake was testing crypto integration, with this feature available in select users’ wallets. It was not visible in ours. That was a beta phase of Stake’s Mesh (a crypto payment network) integration, which now allows users to fund their accounts instantly by linking external wallets (like MetaMask, Coinbase, or Ledger) directly to Stake. This integration supports a wide range of wallets/exchanges, including the likes of Trust Wallet, Binance, and Kraken. Its benefits are clear: no more copy-paste mistakes, essentially streamlining what was once a fragmented process.

A promo banner for the Stake-Mesh partnership.

How fast are payouts at Stake?

They should be instant, processed automatically if you have chosen a crypto withdrawal. For fiat ones, available depending on your region, the process can drag out up to three business days, and in some situations, even more.

On a withdrawal test in August 2025, a GOSUBETTING team member made a $60k withdrawal that completed in seconds (literally!). That’s what we’d call a fast transaction.

Is there proof of successful payout transactions?

The staff here told us they do not send over any statements or receipts. The only proof they can provide for a successful transaction is you seeing your transfer in your payment history.

Obviously, we have our own proof courtesy of the withdrawal mentioned in the previous section.

Are there any withdrawal or payout limits?

Stake imposes no maximum limits on crypto transactions. That is great to hear, no? There are minimum withdrawal amounts and small network fees. For the most famous cryptos, these are 0.00002504 BTC, 0.00062610 ETH, 0.01857329 LTC, 2.50000000 USDT, 5.49925970 DOGE, 1.87644594 EOS, and 7.82408913 TRX.

The Stake deposit notice, the start of the level KYC 2 process needed for Stake wallet use.

Are there any payment processing or transaction fees?

When you try to remove money/coins from your Stake balance, you will see a withdrawal fee noted below the minimum withdrawal limit in the payout window. The staff said this is their site fee.

Does Stake have any deposit rollover rules?

Yes. You must wager your deposit sum in full before you can request a withdrawal here. This applies to both crypto and fiat withdrawals. Hence, you cannot take out any funds in a fiat currency or crypto if you have not bet an amount equal to your total deposit.

Are there any other non-standard or questionable payment-related conditions?

Nothing dramatically shocking. But, be careful that you use payment methods registered in your own name. If you use one with someone else’s name, even that of a family member, that will constitute fraud here, and you will get your account terminated and lose your funds. Moreover, Stake maintains the right to retain deposits made during account suspensions. They can do this without guaranteed refunds. We also interpreted their terms as giving this platform authority to refuse transactions without clear justification and offset account balances to cover disputed losses or chargebacks. Again, this is not a super uncommon practice, but it is one that many find unfavorable, as the no-refund policy in cases of errors, and you getting held liable for chargeback-related losses.

Do you need to complete account verification to withdraw?

Yes. You must go through Level 2 KYC verification on Stake to use this site in general, and there is no avoiding this. Stake was not so strict about this in the past, but over the years, as its profile has grown, it has gotten so much light shed on it that it has very stringent AML measures.

What’s the customer service like at Stake?

As we have mentioned many times before, Stake’s customer support team operates from Serbia. This has been the case for years, and still is. We talked to two Marcos here, and both supplied good live support. We chatted with another agent, whose name we forgot, but who excused us, telling us there are service employees who are more versed in the sports betting side of things here and that they would redirect us to one of those. We cannot say that responses in the live window came fast, as we waited up to thirty minutes for replies to come. Still, one of the individuals we talked to went to great lengths to explain things to us, even making custom screenshots outlining payment processes.

You have a Stake Help Center, which you can access through a footer link, which supplies access to one hundred and twenty-one articles covering these topics – Getting Started, Account, Stake Smart, Payments, Casino, Sports, Bonuses & Promotions, and Loyalty Programs. Some of these articles also have screenshots.

There is a Stake help email – [email protected], but the staff here encourages you to use the Stake live chat, except if you have to report some platform issue or trouble with a third-party provider.

Do you get a good betting experience on mobile phones?

Yes, for sure. The simple layout that Stake presents is fully optimized for mobile browsers and displays an app-like experience. Everything works well on a smaller screen. The organization is neat, with all text readable, fast loading, and smooth navigation.

We prefer betting on a desktop at Stake and all other crypto sportsbooks due to the fact that we like more info and functions on screen. But the condensed look works well here. Maybe some of the text could be bigger, but other than this, we have no major complaints about betting on the go at Stake.com.

A promo banner for the Stake mobile version.

Is there a mobile app?

No. Stake.com does not offer a dedicated smartphone/tablet app.

How does the site perform for placing bets and finding betting markets?

Excellent. The right side of the screen gets reserved for the dynamic bet slip, where you can see all selected markets. You get a top search field for easy location of contests you are interested in. The live betting functionality at Stake shows live match timers and immediate market updates. The platform displays current scores, draw odds, and other betting options in a compact format.

There is a market filter that allows you to toggle between markets, providing direct access to the most common bet types. Overall, this site is exceptionally simple for bet placement; it caters well to high-frequency bettors.

Website design

We have said it before, and we will say it again. We are unsure if Stake is actually responsible for the dull blue/muted greys background style, but we will confidently say that it is the site that popularized it. It has a modern look with a rectangle/box organizational pattern, white sans-serif fonts, and vibrant images with a simple illustration style for its original games.

The sportsbook lacks visual flair, but it is well-structured, built to present loads of content, and doing so as clearly as possible.

Ease of use

Stake design is made for prime usability. The Nexiux betting solution has a well-thought-out layout that follows the UI standards most online betting operators adhere to. It looks to maintain as little clutter as possible, given the high volume of content it presents. That is why the UI is intuitively layered, with a main left-side navigation panel from which you can get immediate access to all the sports and the live wagering section. In the central area are the events listed for the chosen sport/competition, and each one has a few markets listed, what get perceived as the main ones.

The Stake bet slip system is super user-friendly with selected bets appearing instantly, and it gives you the ability to toggle between single and multi-wagers, while giving you info such as potential payouts, current stake, and real-time odds changes.

An example of the Stake sportsbook interface, its UEFA CL prematch listings.

Speed and technical performance

Everything was top-notch on both fronts.

Customizable options

You get limited UI customization at Stake. You can change the interface language to one of the offered choices, activate Ghost Mode, which excludes/hides your username in public feeds. You can also opt out of chat rain and marketing offers. There is no theme change here, and the sportsbook lets you accept all odds changes or only the higher ones.

Controls for emails/SMS, and user ignore functionality – though beyond language selection, the interface itself cannot be visually modified.

Does Stake provide responsible gambling-related resources?

Stake has a robust responsible gambling page, reminiscent of the one you can see on BC.GAME. We do not know who did it first, but both are high-quality and probably the best in the sector as far as ensuring that everyone who plays/bets stays within their means. Stake looks to accomplish this via a “Recognize the Signs” section, a budget calculator similar to the one at BC.GAME, a self-assessment quiz, letting you set loss and wager limits, and giving you helpful tips and links.

We must say, we are genuinely impressed by Stake’s commitment to promoting safer gambling. That is something truly praiseworthy, and we wish more sites would follow in these footsteps.

The limiting responsible gambling tools at Stake.com

What countries are restricted from betting?

People from the United States, Curaçao, Lithuania, Sudan, Australia, Greece, Zimbabwe, Czech Republic, Portugal, Afghanistan, Iran, South Africa, Germany, Malta, Colombia, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Spain, Iraq, Austria, Serbia, Israel, Ontario, Cyprus, France, Belgium, Cayman Islands, Syria, Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Argentina, Switzerland, North Korea, Italy, South Sudan, Peru, Brazil, United Kingdom, Liberia, Libya, Slovakia, and Côte d’Ivoire are prohibited from accessing this site.

Is Stake available in any local languages?

Yes, it is available in English, Korean, Russian, Finnish, Turkish, Portuguese, Hindi, Vietnamese, French, Arabic, Indonesian, Chinese, Spanish, Polish, Japanese, and German.

How does Stake compare against its closest competitors?

Brands like Roobet, BC.GAME and Duelbits are ones that we would point out as Stake’s main rivals. BC.GAME is probably closest in terms of user count and betting volume. Stake has them beat when it comes to live streams, and it has better sports bonuses than these hubs. The betting page here is almost identical to the one at Duelbits, while Roobet and BC.GAME use the BETBY sportsbook solution, which we are sure many may favor over Nexiux’s software. But as a whole, this site is better than those three, which is why we rank it higher than them.

Is Stake affiliated with or connected to any other crypto sportsbooks?

Stake founders, Bijan Tehrani and Ed Craven, a year before launching this site, created Primedice, leveraging what they learned from it to offer a better experience on this platform. Primedice is still running, although nowhere near the level of this hub, and in 2022, Stake established a US-centric social casino version called Stake.us, which takes advantage of the US sweepstakes legal landscape. We will see how long that social casino will be active, as we have noticed other crypto operators closing similar platforms due to US states passing laws that ban them.

Can you buy crypto on site?

Yes. Although, as mentioned above, you have to go through the KYC process first to be able to access the Stake wallet window. There, you can get digital coins through Swapped or MoonPay, using these fiat currencies: USD, EUR, JPY, INR, ARS, CAD, CLP, CNY, IDR, KRW, MXN, NGN, PEN, PHP, PLN, RUB, TRY, and VND. The window will display both MoonPay and Swapped, showing you the better rate when both options are available.

The buy crypto option inside the Stake payment window.

Conclusion: Does my experience with Stake rate it as a solid, high-quality sportsbook?

For crypto bettors, Stake is most certainly a top choice. It is not just the popularity of the brand that draws people to it; it actually offers a high level of service. Its betting page lists thousands of pre-match events per month, with this sportsbook featuring, on average, over two thousand from September to May each year.

Stake also has a good selection of eSports events, and good market depth for contests for leagues like the NBA, NHL, NFL, and Champions League. The choices for contests from these is exceptional. It supplies minute markets as well, Asian lines, and unique props. All of these should list competitive odds and high-quality live streams.

We also like the Mesh wallet integration that Stake recently debuted, as well as the fact that this site has no max withdrawal limits. Event-specific promotions, such as UFC ones, are good, but we wish to see more staple ones here that hang around for years, like the Eddie ones for casino gamblers. We also miss some of the sports competitions this site used to run.

If you have not used this site before, please consider our exclusive GOSU bonuses and look into the VIP program, which rewards bettors and gaming fans as well. The responsible gambling tools on hand here are a massive plus.

All that said, we are sure that the strict KYC requirements will turn off a lot of bettors, as you get zero anonymity here. There is also the past hack that some are sure to find worrying, and the complaints about inconsistent customer support.

Factoring in all that, Stake should be a top-five pick in everyone’s book. It has some drawbacks, but those do not seem to bother the millions of happy customers this site has, and we predict that its user base will only keep growing in the years to come.

Are there any signs that Stake could be a scam?

Zero. Stake is, undoubtedly, the most established online gambling platform accepting cryptos ever.

Live streams Super high-profile site Great responsible gambling tools Mesh wallet integration No withdrawal maximums
