I have been writing about crypto gambling since 2020 and testing bookmakers with my own money for just as long. GOSUBETTING is where the betting side of that work lives now.
In 2019 I went down the cryptocurrency rabbit hole like a lot of people did, and ended up in the gambling section of bitcointalk.org. What struck me was how little of what was written there could be checked. Every site claimed to be independent. Every review said the same things. Nobody showed their work.
So in 2020 I built BTCGOSU — a resource for crypto gamblers who wanted something more reliable than a top-ten list written by someone who had never opened an account. The name comes from the Korean gosu, roughly “someone who is very good at something”.
It worked better than I expected. The site was recognised as AffPapa Crypto Affiliate of the Year in 2022 and 2023, and it became one of the few review sites the bitcointalk community pointed to as an exception rather than more of the same.
GOSUBETTING came later, as the sportsbook-focused counterpart.
I sold BTCGOSU in 2025. It is no longer connected to this site, and nothing here is affected by how it is run now.
In 2026 I took everything on this site offline. Not because of a Google penalty, not because of a sale — because I read my own reviews properly and did not like what I found.
Most of the content had been written to fill a page rather than answer a question. And more uncomfortably: several reviews said we had tested payouts. We had. But we showed no timings, no transaction IDs, nothing anyone could actually check. A reader had to take our word for it.
That is the same thing I built BTCGOSU to get away from, and here I was doing it.
So it all came down — the reviews included — and what went up instead is narrower and harder to fake. Every book gets funded from my own wallet. Every withdrawal gets timed. Every transaction ID gets published. No review exists until there is a measurement behind it, and the scores are calculated from those measurements rather than handed out.

I do. There is no team, no outsourced testing, no data bought in from anywhere.
That is a limitation as much as a claim — one person can only test so many books, which is why this site covers fewer of them than the big comparison portals do. What it means in return is that every figure here has a name attached to it, and that name is mine.
Sportsbooks. Casinos are not the subject of this site — plenty of people cover those, and a payout test on a casino answers a different question than one on a bookmaker.
Bitcoin first. Where a book offers another chain, I use it and measure exactly the same things: the click, the broadcast, the confirmation, the fee. The chain changes which explorer you check the result against, not what is being measured.
No bookmaker is left out for doing badly. A book that pays slowly, demands documents at a threshold it never announced, or refuses outright stays on the list with that result attached — it loses its referral link. The book stays on the list, marked Review only, with the result that put it there. A refused payout is the most useful measurement this site can produce. Leaving it out would be the same as hiding it.
Affiliate commission, and nothing else. When a reader signs up through a link here, I earn a share.
Three rules follow from that, and they are enforced in the software rather than left to good intentions:
Commission rate is not an input to any score, and never will be.
Every book is paid for out of my own wallet before anything is written about it — including books I earn nothing from.
When a book I earn from performs badly, the score drops and the referral link is removed. The book stays on the list, marked Review only, with the reasons attached. That rule is built into the system: a bookmaker marked as review-only cannot output an affiliate link at all, even by accident.
I read the GOSUBETTING thread on Bitcointalk daily and answer there. It is the fastest way to reach me, and the right place to say so publicly if something on this site is wrong.
Telegram works too, and I post new measurements on X as they go up. For anything that does not belong in public — a document, a screenshot, a complaint about a book that named you — there is the contact page.
If a bookmaker has treated you badly — or unexpectedly well — tell me and I will test it myself.
Corrections get published rather than quietly fixed. If a figure here is wrong, the record shows that it was wrong and when it changed.
That is the whole reason this version of the site exists.
