The situation with the Wolves is even worse. They didn’t have a single victory during the preseason, having one tie which was followed by four defeats in a row. Furthermore, the previous two events saw Wolverhampton failing to score.
Manchester City took all three points from Molineux last weekend, trashing the hosts 0-4. It was a one-sided domination and the Wolves couldn’t do anything, struggling to put some resistance in the back line and at least slow down the rivals.
