Both Fulham and Chelsea looked like they would surely occupy a spot granting European football next season at one point during the season. But now, at the tail end of it, Fulham are more likely just to record a top-half finish, while Chelsea will have to fight tooth and nail if they want UCL exposure next season.
Fulham Team News
While stable at home, Fulham have experienced issues on the road, something which has greatly contributed to their fall in the Premier League table. The Cottagers were downed 1-0 at Bournemouth last time out, with this loss constituting the 3rd consecutive loss on the road for the team. At least at home, things look to be different – back-to-back wins for Fulham in their last 2 home matches against Tottenham and Liverpool. Overall, the Cottagers are not involved in goal-rich games regularly, as only 2 of their last 5 Premier League fixtures passed the over 2.5 goal mark and just one the over 3.5 one. More often than not, goal ranges for Fulham games tend to be around 2 per fixture.
Chelsea Team News
Chelsea had a solid start to the season and was firmly entrenched within the top 4, but a string of bad results has moved them to 7th. All is not lost, however, as the Blues are just 3 points off 5th-placed Nottingham Forest. Recent results for Enzo Maresca’s side have been average – 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss in his side’s last 5 Premier League fixtures. The loss was incurred by Arsenal, while one of the victories was claimed against Tottenham, but the team’s last 2 league outings were back-to-back draws against less than illustrious opposition – Ipswich and Brentford. Except for the Ipswich fixture, all of Chelsea’s recent Premier League matches produced a small number of goals, 1 per game. The game against Brentford even ended 0-0.
Head-to-Head-Games
Across the last 5 H2H league fixtures between Fulham and Chelsea, we can see that the stats are evenly split – 2 wins for either side and a draw. Two of those encounters produced over 2.5 goals, but no more than 3. Overall, games between Fulham and Chelsea do not seem to produce a large number of goals.

Fulham – Chelsea Betting Prediction
I will go for a range of 2-3 goals here. Neither side’s recent results feature games with lots of scoring. It is exactly the opposite – most of Fulham and Chelsea’s last games have seen a low number of goals scored, with games between them often falling within the 2-3 goal range. I expect this to be the case again, as for Chelsea, especially, this is an important fixture that will require caution. Moreover, I expect that there might be some fatigue in this Chelsea side due to their continental appointments.
