My pick here is for a Newcastle Win. I believe that they will have a stronger incentive for a win here. Additionally, the Magpies have been firing on all cylinders lately, securing win after win. Lifting a major trophy as well as being comfortably placed in the contest for the UCL spots has done wonders for their morale, and the team keeps on winning. As hosts, they have been especially clinical as well.
While Crystal Palace has exhibited some fine away form up until March, judging by their last 2 league trips, it seems to have evaporated in April. Moreover, trips to St. James’ Park haven’t been very productive for Palace in recent years, and I do not expect this time to be any different, seeing as how they will square off against a roused Newcastle side that is very close to achieving its season goals.
